Lucy has 10 years experience working in administration management in various different industries from Telecoms to Insurance with the most recent role being at Nakheel in Dubai. At Gulf Re Lucy manages the day to day operations from Facilities Management to IT Systems as well as providing executive assistance to the Senior Management Team.

Prior to joining Gulf Re Joyce held the position of In-House Lawyer for BNP Paribas and was the Legal advisor for the French Association of Small to Medium size Banks. At Gulf Re Joyce is responsible for ensuring that the company is compliant with the requirements of the regulatory authority the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and to also ensure the relevant policies and procedures are in place from Know Your Customer (KYC) to Anti Money Laundering (AML). Joyce holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Law and a Masters Degree in European Law from the Universite of Pantheon – Assas in Paris and a Masters Degree in European Union Policy from Universite La Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.

Rizwana has been in the insurance industry for the past 5 years, with experience in Technical, Financial and Management Accounting. She started her career with AIG Sri Lanka and prior to joining Gulf Re she was working as the Technical Accountant for AIG Middle East. At Gulf Re she assists the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining the accounting records and preparation of the Company’s financial and management accounting and reporting to the management, Board of Directors, Sponsors and regulatory authorities in the UAE. Rizwana holds an advanced diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA in the UK.

Samson has been in the insurance industry for the last 5 years with experience in Technical and Non-Technical Accounting. Prior to joining Gulf Re, he worked for the Dubai branch of General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) as Assistant Manager, Finance. At Gulf Re Samson assists the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining the accounting records, preparation of the Company’s financial and management accounting and reporting to the management, Board of Directors, Sponsors and regulatory authorities in the UAE. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Finance.


Sundae Pena,

Sundae has eight years experience as a Senior Accountant working at the San Miguel Corporation in the Philippines.  For the past two and a half years she has worked as an Accounting Assistant at Hewit Associates, a HR Consultancy in Dubai.  At Gulf Re Sundae assists the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining the accounting records, preparation of the Company's financial and management accounting and reporting to the management, Board of Directors, Sponsors and regulatory authorities in the UAE.  Sundae is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from the University of the Philippines.

Kristine moved to Dubai in 2005 and has worked for J Ray McDermott Inc and Nakheel as an administrator in their health and safety departments. At Gulf Re Kristine assists all staff with day to day administration and hospitality, she is also the best person to contact should you wish to arrange a meeting or book a hotel. Kristine holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Majoring in Financial Accounting and is a certified Lead auditor.
